Who doesn’t love a Technicolor Christmas party!? I hope that everyone out there who does will enjoy this collection of scans. I decided to share this booklet of holiday party recipes produced by 7Up in 1962. I adore the kitschy photos, quirky fonts and period illustrations that are seen throughout. While it only has 8 pages (including the cover), it is packed with awesomeness! I’m not sure if this was originally an insert in a magazine, or if it was some sort of extra that you would pick up next to the product display in the store. I found it at the bottom of a dirty bin at the Goodwill Outlet, where it was luckily sandwiched in between someone’s personal papers that took the brunt of the abuse inflicted by other thrifters. As I read through it, I can’t decide which I want to make more, the 7Up popcorn sculptures or the 7Up sugar plum punch? Which of these bright holiday delights sounds tasty to you? If you choose to include any of the recipes below as part of your hip holiday spread, please leave us a comment and tell us how it turned out!
